| With the ability to drive
tanks and ships as well as fly aircraft, the Nomads were
drawn to EA's new online shooter Battlefield
1942 as soon as it was released. Especially the Desert
Combat mod that put modern weapons of war into the game. But
it was BF1942's follow-up, Battlefield Vietnam that sparked
their interest even further. |

| The appeal of the BF games is variety. The
group found so many different things to do, yet there was
still a strong basis for good team strategy. Some found flying to their liking, others more ground based operations,
but the combination of these different interests is what
makes playing as a team the most fun. |

Still active in BFV today, though
not playing in any matches, the wacky
antics of the Nomads
keep them as entertained as the actual game itself. |
