A funny thing happened when Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six sequel Raven Shield in 2003. The pack of Nomads playing Ghost Recon with +Smok and those playing Quake 3 with +Lost found some common ground in the new tactical shooter.
So with the Circle of Gaming™ complete, the Nomads proceeded to snipe, grenade, and machine gun their way through ladders and leagues. There were a lot of new faces from both sides, and the Nomads continued to grow and find common ground with other players and teams. Not to mention developing secret and deadly tactics like the "Prone Rush" and "Here, I'll drop this nade by my teammate for safe keeping".
Unfortunately, Raven Shield was plagued by buggy code and sloppy patching and while some have given up on it, RvS is still played both competetively and for fun by the Nomads. Look for anyone with a N| or +Nomad+ tag and say "Hi!".
